Teledyne e2v's 8K Image Sensor for Logistics Applications

Teledyne e2v has introduced Snappy Wide, an 8k wide aspect ratio CMOS image sensor designed for use in a range of logistics applications, including some that require low light. The sensor includes a 2.5 m global shutter pixel that is constructed with light pipe technology and has a dynamic range of 66 dB in 10-bit and 12-bit ADC mode. It is available in monochrome and color versions, with resolutions of 35 MPixels (8,192 x 4,320), 28 MPixels (8,182 x 3,500), and 16 MPixels (8,192 x 2,000). It can also be utilized as a high throughput 1D linear scanner, with a dual line scanning speed of 18,700 fps.
